Rookie actress Park Hae Eun reacts to controversy criticizing her acting skills. The 24-year-old beauty took to social media to express her insights regarding the issue.

Park Hae Eun Expresses Thoughts on Being Criticized for 'Poor Acting'

In her latest Instagram post, Park Hae Eun gained the attention of netizens and her 13,600 followers after sharing an article, titled "Rookie actor's insufficient acting skills."

In addition, the photo also contains logo images of K-dramas including "Adamas" and "Gentleman."

However, what struck the public is Park Hae Eun's Instagram caption that reads, "You are working hard, you are suffering a lot," adding, "See you this week. I support you."

The actress shared this on her pinned posts and disabled the comment section. The said article is related to her supposed role in "Alchemy of Souls."

In April of 2021, Park Hae Eun was confirmed as one of the lead stars in the series penned by the Hong sisters, who wrote smash hit K-dramas "My Girl," "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho," "A Korean Odyssey" and IU's "Hotel del Luna."

Unfortunately, the rookie actress stepped down in the middle of the filming due to her "poor acting."

In a report, a representative from tvN confirmed to Star News that the 24-year-old actress "left the drama after discussion with the production crew."

Furthermore, tvN shared that the actress struggled to portray the main character as she feels "pressure" playing a significant role.

"Despite the fact that she is a rookie actress, we worked hard together, but she felt a lot of pressure to play the lead character of a big project," the representative added.

Due to this the production team and officials have agreed to a mutual decision of letting go of Park Hae Eun.

"Therefore, after a lot of discussion with the actress and with respect to a mutual exchange of opinions, it was decided that she would step down from the role."

According to outlets, Park Hae Eun completed the script reading; however, as the production began filming, the officials and the team concluded that her acting was unfit for the character.

Following the actress' decision to step down, "Alchemy of Souls" had a new female lead through Jung So Min.

Who is Park Hae Eun?

The 24-year-old beauty is a rookie actress who made her debut in the 2020 K-drama "The School Nurse Files." "Alchemy of Souls" was supposed to be her first lead role but had to drop out because of too much pressure.

Now, she is starring in Ji Sung's new K-drama "Adamas" where she took the role of Yoon Seon, one of Team A's ace members and Secretary Yoon's younger sister.

As for her upcoming projects, she is set to star in the webtoon based series "The Borrowed Body" under Kakao TV.
