Apart from their god-tier visuals and intense chemistry, the successful modern-day retelling of a South Korean folklore through the film earned praise and acclaim from the public.

Jung Woo Sung

Jung Woo Sung busied himself with work and improving himself as an actor. He also ventured into other pursuits, widening the horizons of his career.

Recently, the actor appeared in thriller dramas "Delayed Justice" and Cannes film "Hunt." In the film, Jung Woo Sung starred alongside real life best friend Lee Jung Jae who also directed the film.

It was screened in the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and surpassed 1 million admissions in just four days of its release. Up until this writing, "Hunt" is the 4th highest grossing film of the year with a gross of 20 million USD.

Jung Woo Sung also branched into being a film director through his upcoming directorial debut work "A Man of Reason."

While he holds the megaphone, he will also lead the main character who has been stuck in prison who wishes to turn over a new leaf.

Fellow veterans Kim Nam Gil, Park Sung Woong, Lee Elijah and more are also part of the film, which is scheduled to air in September.

In 2021, Jung Woo Sung co-produced the most watched Netflix series "The Silent Sea" starring Gong Yoo, Bae Doona and Lee Joon.

On the other hand, the actor is currently preparing for his silver screen comeback with new works "Seoul Spring" and "Cobweb," which are both slated to air in the later half of the year.

Esom

Like Jung Woo Sung, Esom is also more than ready to dominate the acting scene once again with a bunch of new projects to offer!

After the success of her action thriller drama "Taxi Driver," Esom took a one-year break from the limelight. Earlier this month, the production unit of the series announced the production of a new season due to immense public interest.

However, the actress decided not to join the new season due to schedule conflicts. In spite of that, Esom has a lot of projects in store for fans.

Esom returns with the new dystopian drama "Black Knight" which centers on a delivery guy who plays a major role in society amid extreme air pollution.

Kim Woo Bin, Kim Eui Sung and Song Seung Heon also star in the drama. The series is scheduled to be released in the later part of the year on Netflix.

Esom will also be a part of a slew of multiples films including "Kill Bok Soon" with Jeon Do Yeon, romantic comedy "Single in Seoul" with Lee Dong Wook and coming of age romance "Starlight Falls" with Ong Seong Wu.
