As the drama bids its goodbye, fans' can't help but to get excited for the second season of the drama. Here are some of the stories to look forward to in the new season of the drama!
1. The Whale Couple's Romantic Pursuits
Viewers were instantly relieved after Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) and Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh) continued their relationship.
However, fans were also sad as the drama ended without seeing enough of the two characters' lovey-dovey moments.
In the second season of the drama, the Whale Couple is expected to showcase their interesting romantic pursuits who have just begun to fall in love, making the viewers' hearts flutter.
2. Attorney Jung Myeong Seok's Future
In the first season of the series, Jung Myeong Seok (Kang Ki Young) has been nothing but supportive of Woo Young Woo and the rest of the Hanbada team.
Unlike other main stars, Jung Myeong Seok's story is never forgotten as the second half of the series focused on his past.

Jung Myeong Seok survived stomach cancer. He also took his much needed break from the court. In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Season 2, he is expected to show his plans as a lawyer.
Since he promised to never leave his ex-wife's side, fans are curious whether he will rejoin Hanbada or he will set up his own private law firm to focus on his health.
3. Tactician Kwon Min Woo and Spring Sunshine Choi Su Yeon's Romance
The second half of the series gave light to the budding romance of cat and dog colleagues Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) and Choi Su Yeon (Ha Yoon Kyung).
While some fans are not amused with the sudden love line, many viewers are rooting for the two characters' happiness. Earlier in the drama, Choi Su Yeon was fascinated with Kwon Min Woo's habits and attractive personality.
Thankfully, the latter also gave subtle hints. In the final episode, Kwon Min Woo withdrew from doing something wrong and quoted Choi Su Yeon, signifying the reciprocated feelings.
Fans anticipate to see what kind of relationship will be developed between the two who started as enemies. Will they end up as lovers?
4. Tae Su Mi and Woo Young Woo's Mother and Daughter Bond
Although the drama ended on a positive note, not all loopholes were wrapped up perfectly. With that said, fans regret that the drama didn't show what happened between Woo Young Woo and her estranged mother Tae Su Mi (Jin Kyung) after their confrontation in the final episode.
Tae Su Mi doesn't show it but it is evident that she feels deep emotions for her daughter whom she hasn't seen since time immemorial.
Expectations are through the roof as to what kind of bond Tae Su Mi and Woo Young Woo will have in the future.
5. The Genius Siblings Woo Young Woo and Choi Sang Hyeon
In the final episode, it was revealed that Woo Young Woo's half-brother Choi Sang Hyeon (Choi Hyun Jin) is the responsible behind the hacking of a large scale company.
Woo Young Woo helped Choi Sang Hyeon confess what he did after their mother tried to cover up the crime.
Through this encounter, fans swoon over the adorable genes of their genius family as Choi Sang Hyeon showed up quite shy yet firm by calling Woo Young Woo his older sister.
In the second season of the drama, fans wish to see the two characters' close bonds as siblings.
Moreover, the production unit of the drama aims to keep 90% of the original cast in the second season. The principal filming of the drama began in July, and it is expected to hit the screen in 2024.
