'The Red Sleeve,' 'All of Us Are Dead' Hailed as 'Outstanding Korean Dramas'
On September 5, the highly-anticipated 17th Seoul International Drama Awards was held in South Korea, and fans were delighted to see their favorite stars and dramas bag big awards.
The megahit historical-romance drama "The Red Sleeve," starring Lee Junho and Lee Se Young, once again made history as the series hailed as one of the "Outstanding Korean Dramas" this 2022, alongside Netflix zombie-themed series "All of Us Are Dead."
Though programs premiered on different streaming platforms, "The Red Sleeve" and "All of Us Are Dead" successfully gained massive support from viewers.
Before its scheduled premiere in November 2021, "The Red Sleeve" was already sold to more than 20 countries including major cities in America, Europe, and Japan.

Meanwhile, "All of Us Are Dead" immediately received recognition from local viewers and foreign countries as it was streamed on the famous online streaming giant Netflix.
BLACKPINK Jisoo Beats Son Ye Jin & Lee Se Young in Best Actress Category
Adding to the list of winners is the newly-debuted actress and BLACKPINK's vocalist Jisoo. The female star bagged the "Outstanding Performance of Korean Drama of the Year - Actress," or simply "Outstanding Korean Actress," for her first lead role in JTBC's highly acclaimed drama "Snowdrop."
The idol-actress beat Lee Junho's onscreen partner Lee Se Young, who had been nominated for her exceptional performance in "The Red Sleeve."
Jisoo also won over A-list actress and mother-to-be Son Ye Jin, who had been nominated for her role in the melodrama "Thirty-Nine."
Kim Seon Ho Bags Major Awards
K-drama heartthrob Kim Seon Ho regained his power in the acting field as he won the "Outstanding Performance of Korean Drama of the Year - Actor" award for his magnificent performance in tvN's healing-romance series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha."
In 2021, Kim Seon Ho faced massive controversy, which almost ended his career. Fortunately, the truth behind the issues thrown at him circulated online and proved his innocence.
The K-drama star was able to bounce back as he starred in the stage play "Touching the Void." This is a great start for the male star and has the possibility that Kim Seon Ho will finally make his small-screen return soon!
Meanwhile, Im Young Woong's "Love Always Run Away," which is the official OST for the series "Young Lady and Gentleman," won the "Outstanding Korean Drama OST."
Kang Daniel, on the other hand, made his acting debut in the K-series "Rookie Cops." He was hailed as the "Outstanding K-Pop Idol" as the idol-actor who led the Korean Wave as a K-Pop Star and actor.
