The two singers hosted SBS TV's music program "Inkigayo" for a year-2018 to 2019-along with actor Song Kang.
Although awkward at first, the two artists became closer, and soon became friends, especially after learning that the two were both born in 1997.

When asked about her ideal type, Jung Chaeyeon chooses Howl from "Howl's Moving Castle" as her ideal man.
She reasoned, "I like someone who has a pretty sharp jawline. I think how he presents himself speaks a lot and I'm drawn to that kind of man."
Jung Chaeyeon also added that she wants a man whom she can speak with on a personal level. She said, "To know a person, we need to converse with one another and learn about each other's beliefs and principles."
