After her Cannes film "Broker" with Song Kang Ho which aired in June, IU gears up for her upcoming sports film "Dream" with Park Seo Joon.
It depicts the heartwarming story of a football athlete who coaches the team of homeless people for the Homeless World Cup.
In the series, IU plays the role of an aspiring producer who documents the happenings in the football team. The film aims to give comfort as well as satisfaction to all moviegoers. "Dream" is set to hit the silver screen in March 2023.
Park Hae Soo
The year 2022 is dominated by the award-winning actor Park Hae Soo as he appeared in multiple Netflix series in just a span of five months.
Since the success of his survival Netflix program "Squid Game," Park Hae Soo has gained international success.
He portrayed the role of Berlin in the South Korean remake of the Spanish heist series "Money Heist: Joint Economic Area."

Park Hae Soo also participated in the espionage and drug-centered works "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations" and "Narco-Saints."

Bae Doona
Bae Doona reunited with IU in the Cannes film "Broker" where she portrayed the role of a police detective. After the success of the film, she was cast in the American Netflix film "Rebel Moon," a work inspired solely by "Star Wars."
Bae Doona is set to work with popular stars like "Fahrenheit 451" actress Sofia Boutella, Anthony Hopkins and more. Filming began in April with the hopes to release the film in the second half of 2022.
Shim Dal Gi
Promising young actress Shim Dal Gi also appeared in several works this year, proving her versatility.
Earlier this year, she joined Kim Hye Soo and Kim Mu Yeol in the Netflix series "Juvenile Justice" as a battered daughter who uses drugs and alcohol as escapism.
She earned worldwide recognition for the role, and was soon cast as the younger version of Lee Jung Eun in the family drama "Our Blues."
Both programs became Netflix's most charting series in the first half of 2022. In particular, Shim Dal Gi also made a special appearance in Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Jun Yeol's dystopian film "Alien."
