After filing a lawsuit against actress Lee Sun Bin in 2021, Well Made Star Entertainment has lost both trial hearings.

On September 23, it was revealed that the entertainment company once again lost the trial that was held by Seoul High Court against their own artist.

Well Made Star Entertainment filed a lawsuit claiming 500 million KRW in 2020, stating that actress Lee Sun Bin has continued her activities in the agency despite requesting for contract termination.

With this, Lee Sun Bin's side countered that the actress was only fulfilling her duties as an artist in the company despite its lackluster management.

According to the latter, the agency had problems with settlement and reparations, as well as in handling the actress' schedules.

The company also reduced Lee Sun Bin's manager's salary, hindering the actress' activities. In the contract signed by the actress, a clause dictates that the agency must provide reparations to the actress.

This also stems from an issue in 2018 in which Lee Sun Bin didn't receive her fees and other specific materials despite their agreement.

The high court's judgment is reasonable but the actress' agency has submitted an appeal, adamant to win the lawsuit after a series of trials.

With this, Lee Sun Bin will continue to face her own agency in the court with the hopes to win the case.

Lee Sun Bin and her party wish to terminate her contract with the company as soon as possible, and receive proper reparations from Well Made Star Entertainment.
