The popularity of Joo Hyun Young increased drastically after her appearance in the international blockbuster hit "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
In the series, she portrayed the role of Park Eun Bin's extroverted and very supportive best friend. With her eccentric personality, she instantly stole the spotlight.
In addition to that, her "Dong to the Geu to the Rami" greeting also became a trend not only in South Korea but also in other parts of the countries including the Philippines, Indonesia and more.
After the conclusion of the series, Joo Hyun Young received many commercial and brand endorsements while also enjoying her time as a fixed cast member of "SNL Korea."
In her recent appearance in Kang Ho Dong's entertainment program "Just Come Out," Joo Hyun Young flaunted her top notch variety show skills.
Kang Ho Dong also praised her for her performance in the drama. He then asked the latter to choose a work she wants to do for a long time between "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" or "SNL Korea."

Although stunned with the question, she brazenly chose the Season 3 of "SNL Korea," saying, "I don't think I'll do the Season 2 of the series. I might be scolded by Young Mi."
Ahn Young Mi is a fellow comedian in the program, which made Kang Ho Dong laugh with Joo Hyun Young's bold attitude. On the other hand, Joo Hyun Young positively responded to the news of season renewal of the drama.
"It's a great opportunity and honor to star once again in the new season," she said. "I'm also curious whether Dong Geurami will keep on clinging to Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) in the series or give up on love."
Fans also expressed their excitement for Joo Hyun Young's confirmation as they couldn't wait to see more of Dong Geurami in the small screen!
'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Season 2 Details and What We Know So Far
Right after the conclusion of its final episode, the production unit of the series announced its upcoming season that delighted fans.
Director Yoo In Shik thanked the public for its invaluable support, saying, "It's a blessing that we get to do another season for Woo Young Woo's story, as multiple seasons are a rare occurrence in the K-Drama scene."
The production unit of the series promises fans to return with even better cinematography and narrative while keeping 90% of its original plot.
"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Season 2 is aimed to be released in the early half of 2024 after Kang Tae Oh's military discharge.
