Nana's Controversial Tattoos Went Viral
To recall, during the press conference of Nana's upcoming movie "Confession," the female celebrity shocked many with her new tattoos all over her body. The photos were quick to circulate online which also triggered a heated debate among her fans guessing whether the tattoos were just temporary in promotion of the new movie or real.
As the debate continued, and the actress was mentioned on various online portals, the After School member's agency released a statement regarding Nana's tattoos. However, the agency didn't deny nor confirm whether Nana's tattoos are true.
Instead, they asked for the public's understanding that will is difficult for them to answer because it is the privacy of the actress. The released statement just made netizens curious about the female star's tattoos.
On September 27, K-drama actress Nana personally answered the questions about her tattoos and confirmed that those were real. The "Oh! Master" star attended the press conference of her upcoming Netflix series "Glitch" alongside Jeon Yeo Bin.

The "Justice" actress simply said, "I got the tattoos because I wanted to." With her fierce yet honest answer, the public now knows the truth about her tattoos.
Nana Shares How She Chose What Tattoos To Put on Her Body
Meanwhile, the Korean star is making her Netflix return with "Glitch." She takes the role of Heo Bo Ra, who is an alien chaser. In addition, she explained during the press conference that her character is a person who tracks mysterious phenomena, including aliens.
Also according to her, the idea of the character was originally set by director Roh Deok, but she also made suggestions. Nana explained that Bo Ra has a lot of tattoos and wears colorful pairs of clothes. The actress wanted to put meaning in each of her tattoos so she carefully and meticulously chose the drawing and phrases for the tattoo.
She ended her statement by saying "Honestly, I didn't have an interest in Bo Ra's character. I got tattoos because I wanted to. And these are tattoos that I got personally."
