TVING's 'Island' To Premiere in THIS Month
Online streaming platform TVING surprised many on October 6 as they released an announcement confirming that the thriller-action drama "Island," which stars Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon will premiere this coming December.
However, the exact date of release is yet to be announced. K-drama fans and viewers are already close to seeing their favorite stars in one frame. Particularly, Cha Eun Woo, as it will be his first drama series this 2022. Though there are numerous scripts offered to him, most of those are for confirmation and are still for production in 2023.
Outstanding actor Kim Nam Gil is returning to primetime with "Island," following the conclusion of his crime-thriller series "Through the Darkness" last March. Adding to the A-list stars is actress Lee Da Hee. It is indeed a back-to-back project for "The Beauty Inside" star as she will also team up with Choi Siwon in the romance series "Love is for Suckers."
Sung Joon on the other hand, is making his major small screen comeback after six years of hiatus. The last acting project he had was in 2021 in the movie "The Night Shift."
What Other Projects To Anticipate From Cha Eun Woo
Following his successful fan meetings in Asia. Idol-actor Cha Eun Woo participated in several fashion magazines. Next to his Asia tour, Eun Woo recently attended the Paris Fashion Week for the brand that he endorse.

Though he has a jam-packed schedule, there are also projects already lined up for him. Apart from "Island," the ASTRO member is already confirmed to lead the forthcoming series "A Good Day To Be A Dog" (working title) also known as "Today's Lovely Dog."
He will reunite with actress Park Gyu Young, whom he already worked with in the music video of the Korean band Urban Zakapa for their song "You're The Reason." Joining them is "Money Heist" actor Lee Hyun Woo.
Eun Woo is also in line to join Kim Joo Young in the series "Sweet and Sour Chicken" which is said to be penned and helmed by the "Be Melodramatic" director Lee Byeong Hun. The said drama is based on a webtoon novel "Fried Chicken" by Park Ji Dok.
