Lee Ji Han's Mother Pens Heartbreaking Letter to Singer-Actor
Lee Ji Han's mother wrote a heartbreaking tribute to her son who was among the victims of the Itaewon tragedy.
Using Lee Ji Han's Instagram, the mother expressed her thoughts and things she wanted to say to the singer-actor.
Lee Ji Han's Mother Expressed How She Truly Feels About her Son's Death
Posting the actor's baby photo, she started her letter by wishing that Lee Ji Han would read her letter.
In a lengthy message, she started by hoping that "nothing like this ever happens to anyone again" referring to the Itaewon crowd crush incident.
Lee Ji Han's mother also spoke about her son's upcoming K-drama "Season of Kkokdu" saying that he "went through so much" before filming the upcoming series.
"You worked out daily and I was always so heartbroken when you asked, 'mother, can I eat this?' because you were on a diet,'" she wrote, adding that she still can't accept the fate of her son, calling it "absurd and preposterous."
Lee Ji Han's mother opened up as she expressed her great sadness following the passing of her beloved son.
"How can I let you go before me, my treasure that I always held once," she wrote, adding that her heart breaks as she sees "hundreds of acquaintances, friends, and brothers" who loved his son saddened by his untimely death.
"I don't want to find the meaning of life anymore," she said.

Lee Ji Han's mother concluded her message by wishing for peace for her son.
Over the comment section, fans and netizens expressed their sympathy as well as encouraging words for the grieving mother.
Who is Lee Ji Han?
On October 30, hundreds of people mostly in their 20s died due to a stampede that occurred in an alleyway of Itaewon.
Unfortunately, among the victims is Lee Ji Han who reportedly saves a girl who was trapped in the crowd, but his heroic act caused him his death after the actor was stuck and unable to escape.
The report also cited that the singer-actor was on his way home since he lived in Itaewon when the incident happened.
On the other hand, the girl's family was sorry for the loss and expressed gratitude to Lee Ji Han's family.
Lee Ji Han is a former "Produce 101 Season 2" contestant and has his acting debut in 2019 for "Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day."
He is also currently filming his new K-drama "Season of Kokdu" under MBC.
Due to the incident, the production team halts its filming to honor Lee Ji Han.
As for his replacement, "Squid Game" actor Lee Jung Joon will play his role as Im Soo Young's boyfriend in "Season of Kokdu."
