After 10 years, Park Bo Gum becomes a free agent after officially leaving his longtime agency Blossom Entertainment. According to a report, the South Korean heatthrob's exclusive contract with the label will expire at the end of this year.
Blossom Entertainment Confirms End of Park Bo Gum's Contract
In the same outlet, his then agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed that the actor will not be renewing his contract with them. Blossom CEO Joo Ok Ok said he label "will always support" the "Record of Youth" star.
In addition, the management shared that the star has already completed all related procedures and reached an amicable agreement regarding his departure.
In addition, Park Bo Gum became a part of the healing TV show "Young Actors' Retreat" directed by Kim Seong Yoon.
He is joined by fellow "Love in the Moonlight" cast Kim Yoo Jung, Jung Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon, together with "Itaewon Class" stars Park Seo Joon, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kwon Nara, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Lee Joo Young, and of course, "The Sound of Magic" with Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, Hwang In Yeop, Chi Hae Won, and Kim Bo Yoon.
Interestingly, Park Bo Gum will have his K-drama comeback. After "Record of Youth," viewers will get to see the 29-year-old actor work alongside IU for the upcoming K-drama "Life." The series will focus on two individuals whose lives unravel into four seasons.
As of this writing, the two top stars are still in talks for the drama. However, officials plan to release the series sometime in 2023.
"Life" will be penned by Im Sang Choon of "Fight for My Way" and "When the Camellia Blooms" and directed by Kim Won Suk of "Arthdal Chronicles" seasons 1 and 2, and "Signal."
