Following the controversy involving Lee Seung Gi and Hook Entertainment
The actor's legal team released an official statement updating the public regarding his dispute with the talent agency.
The "Vagabond" star has officially filed a lawsuit against HOOK Entertainment's CEO Kwon Jin Young, and its directors at the Seoul Central District Police Station after the label has proven to be "hiding the truth about the profits from Lee Seung Gi's music for the past 18 years" without any compensation.
Due to this, the actor's camp has filed cases specifically occupational embezzlement and fraud.
On the other hand, the compensation he recently received amounting to 5 billion won was donated to various organizations. Among these is the Seoul National University Children's Hospital.
The institution received 2 billion won or about $1.6 million for the support and the hospital's facility.
