According to various outlets, a video of the actress went viral with the K-drama star praying aloud in front of fellow churchgoers.
With this, some see the "Princess Hours" star in a negative light after being criticized for being overly immersed in religious activities.
In one part of the video, the 38-year-old actress was uttering words saying, "Please help us to see even the sins that we cannot see. Help us to become holy people. As the bride of the Lord, as warriors of the Lord, as children of the Lord, help us to move forward with qualifications," while raising her hands.
Fans Defend Yoon Eun Hye for Mocking Her Religion
With this, netizens expressed their mixed reaction toward Yoon Eun Hye's action. Some thought that it was a scene from a K-drama while others see it as "scary."
On the other hand, fans took to social media and defended the actress against bashers who were mocking her religion.
Moreover, due to her deep involvement with the church, it also raised speculations that Yoon Eun Hye "forced" fellow co-stars to worship on the set of her previous drama, "My Fair Lady."
At the time, the actress reportedly invited a pastor on the set and obliged non-Protestants to join the service.

To recall, the actress is a devout Protestant believer.
However, some believe that Yoon Eun Hye is doing the Tongsung Kido or a special Korean prayer style which basically means "cry out together loudly," and Kido which means "pray."
According to reports, this unique form of activity is significant to the spirit-filled prayer life of Korean Christians and they usually perform in a group.
Yoon Eun Hye's Agency Clarifies Actress' Issues Regarding Her Religion
On the other hand, Yoon Eun Hye's agency responded to issues concerning the actress.
In a report obtained by a local media outlet, the talent label pointed out that there was no truth behind the forced worship, adding "There were people with various religions on set and many were Protestants. There was nothing wrong with this at the time."
Moreover, OSEN also cited that Yoon Eun Hye was not obligated to do the Tongseong prayer but it was her own will.
Currently, Yoon Eun Hye is active in hosting variety shows and her recent is the tvN's Once in a Lifetime, Kilimanjaro" with singer-actress Uee, Choi Hyo Jung, and Son Ho Jun.
Interestingly, she gained global fame after starring in her first major role "Princess Hours" in 2006 with Ju Ji Hoon, Song Ji Hyo, and Kim Jeong Hoon.
It was followed by another hit K-drama, "Coffee Prince" opposite Gong Yoo.
