Kim Min Gyu is ready to meet his fans this 2023 as he gave a sneak peek of his dual role in the upcoming tvN series "The Heavenly Idol," alongside Go Bo Gyeol.

Starting the countdown before its much-awaited release, tvN dropped "The Heavenly Idol" main poster and showed a hint of the lead stars' upcoming characters.
Originally, the romantic-comedy series is based on the famous webtoon and web novel of the same name.
In the drama adaptation, Kim Min Gyu will play the High Priest Rembrary. Due to an unexpected mission, he suddenly finds himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, a member of the unpopular idol group "Wild Animal."
"The Heavenly Idol" marks Kim Min Gyu's first drama following the success of "Business Proposal" in 2022. It is also his first acting project for this year.
The actor is ready for a major character transformation through this series. From being the introvert Secretary Cha Sung Hoon, Kim Min Gyu is set to become a priest-turned-idol and shows his duality for the first time.
Furthermore, "The Heavenly Idol" is slated to premiere beginning February 15 at 10:30 p.m. (KST) on tvN.
