Following his successful back-to-back dramas "Under the Queen's Umbrella" and "Cheer Up," Bae In Hyuk is already booked for another exciting project.
Based on the news by JTBC on February 8, Bae In Hyuk is confirmed to play the lead role in the upcoming drama "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract," which is based on a webtoon of the same name. He will work for the first time with "The Red Sleeve" actress Lee Se Young.
What We Know So Far About 'The Story of Park's Marriage'
"The Story of Park's Marriage" (working title) tells the story of a Confucian girl from 19th Century Joseon who transcends time and space and comes to the modern world.
Lee Se Young is Park Yeon Woo, a virtuous lady who suddenly lost her husband on the first night of their wedding.
Opposite her is Bae In Hyuk, who takes the role of Kang Tae Ha, the soon-to-be-husband of Yeon Woo in the 21st Century.
Viewers should look forward to how his beliefs will change when he finally meets the girl from the 19th Century.

The series will be released through MBC, the broadcasting company that also produced some of the famous dramas "The Red Sleeve," "Big Mouth," "The Forbidden Marriage," and more.
"The Story of Park's Marriage" marks Bae In Hyuk's first drama this year. 2022 was a fruitful year for the rising star as he starred in multiple projects and worked with various veteran actors and actresses.
On the other hand, this is Lee Se Young's first drama team-up with Bae In Hyuk. Her reunion K-drama "The Law Cafe" with Lee Seung Gi concluded last 2022.
Meanwhile, the drama adaptation of "The Story of Park's Marriage" is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2023.
