"Our Blooming Youth" episode 9 depicts chaos in the Kingdom as the Crown Prince, played by Park Hyung Sik, gets paranoid following the shaman's warning.
Directed by Lee Jong Jae of "100 Days My Prince" and "Phsychopath Diary" the story focuses on Crown Prince's Yi Hwan's agony due to a mysterious curse.
As he deals with this, meets lady Min Jae Yi, played by Jeon So Nee who is falsely accused of killing her family.
With this, they try to help each other. Jae Yi is bound to remove Yi Hwan's curse while the Crown prince will help clear her name from the controversy.
'Our Blooming Youth' Episode 9 Rating
While the historical series returns with a new episode, "Our Blooming Youth" experience a slight dip in rating.
According to Neilsen Korea, the 9th episode scored an average nationwide rating of 3.287 percent.
The March 6 viewership delivers a minimal decrease from the previous episode of 3.6 percent.
As of this writing, the highest episode yet is the K-drama's pilot episode where it garnered 4.219 percent.
'Our Blooming Youth' Episode 9 Recap
The episode continues with Min Jae Yi was attacked by unidentified person. Thankfully her court lady, Jang ga Ram, who disgusied himself as a man helped her along with her master, Kim Myung Jin.
In one scene, Ha Sung On, the Crown Prince's best friend and Jae Yi's fiance, reported that his men found a dead body and found out that it was the one who guarded the shaman.
Sung On investigates and saw snake bite marks from the man's body. He was baffled as to why the dead body and the shaman both have the same marks.
While in the investigation continues, the Crown Prince's youngest sibling, Prince Myungan got sick after the shaman's prophecy.
Due to this, the Queen hoped that her son will soon recover after he takes a break.
However, the Queen and the court maids couldnt answer the young royal after he asked about the Song family and their plan for revenge against their family.
Although the Queen refused to tell the truth, the court maid reveals the Song family took the bandits to rebel and wondered how the bandit became a ghost.
At this point, the Crown Prince is hopeful to see the end for it but at the same time clueless and how he will prevent the curse.
