After making a comeback to the small screen, Lee Ji Ah is getting criticized for her performance in tvN's new drama "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise."
Apart from the lead star's acting, viewers seemed not impressed with the revenge drama's storyline.
Before the drama made its premiere, "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" is getting quite a hype after veteran screenwriter Kim Soon Ok became part of the series as the creator.
Moreover, Choi Young Hoon who helmed Honey Lee's "One the Woman" is the director of the weekend series.
From the screenwriter to the director, the casting lineup of "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" also sparked excitement among the public as it features stars from the hit series "The penthouse: War in Life" like Lee Ji Ah, and Bong Tae Gyu as well as award-winning actor Lee Sang Yoon, Park Ki Woong and Jang Hee Jin of "Flower of Evil."
Ahead of the premiere, the actress shared the preparations she had to go through for her role as Hong Tae Ra.
In one of the interviews, Lee Ji Ah teased fans by saying "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" "has a lot of entertaining visual elements."
She elaborates by explaining that even in technicalities, it is something that viewers do not see often.
"We're trying a lot of unique and new things, so I too am really looking forward to the premiere," she furthered.
As for her role, she said that she went through intense physical training since her character is exposed to various combat skills.
"Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" has officially aired its two episodes and had received a decent rating like its predecessor "Crash Course in Romance."
