The distinguished French film festival, Cannes, has finally announced its much anticipated lineup for this year.
Two South Korean films have been invited to screen at the event, one of them is director Kim Jee Woon's high scale film "Cobweb" starring Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung and Krystal Jung.

On April 13, the prestigious Cannes finally announced its Official Selection for its 76th film festival, boasting top notch films from all around the world.
Krystal Jung's most notable works include "The Bride of Habaek," "Crazy Love" and "The Heirs." However, she also delves into action dramas like "Prison Playbook," "Search" and "Player," exuding her femme fatale aura.
Unfortunately, she didn't reprise her role in the second season of "Player" which received the green light earlier this year, much to the fans' disappointment.

According to media outlets, Krystal Jung didn't sign the contract to star in the series to give way to her Cannes film debut with "Cobweb."
Her character was killed off and is replaced by former fromis_9 member Jang Gyuri. Despite the unfortunate situation, fans are excited to see Krystal Jung on the French screen this May.
Moreover, the 28-year-old star is given the liberty to carefully choose her next work!
