"Emperor's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang" Jo Hyun Jae showed various charisma as he made women's hearts flutter.

In "Emperor's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang" (script Hwang Jin Young, director Lee Sang Yeop), Jo Hyun Jae plays the role of Baek Jae dynasty's Crown Prince Myung Nong in a charisma filled prince-like view and a man who's rusty at love.

Myung Nong is a person who is extremely cold like ice when governing in politics but when facing the people, he is very lax as he fills the role of a king of a kingdom. He draws out amazement as he strategizes to be the center of the spy group. In particular, he uses the spies of Kokuryo to be double spies as his intelligence shows a sharp charisma through diplomacy.

Conversely, he also showed a side that is rusty at love behind a strong side of a crown prince. Myung Nong couldn't express himself in front of Sul Nan, his lone servant and he becomes a bad man in front of others as he ignores them like a child. However, when Sul Nan was picked to be the spy of Kokuryo, he showed an intense crying and glare as he left a strong impression.

With an awkward side, he made others laugh as well. He would be jealous at Sul Nan (played by Suh Hyun Jin) and Jin Moo (played by Jun Tae Soo) being friendly and showed the side of a cute man in love as he gives Sul Nan chicken on the side.

A staff member of "Emperor's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang" said that, "Jo Hyun Jae is known to be a practice freak. He always carries a script in his hand and collaborates with other actresses. He is fully engrossed in Myung Nong. With this role as a start, others will look at Jo Hyun Jae in a new light. From now, please look forward to Myung Nong's sides which will continue to diversify" as he hinted.
