Once again, Yoo Ah In experienced long hours of grueling interrogation as the scandal-ridden star appeared before the police for his drug charges.

The award-winning star attended the second investigation at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency along with his legal counsel. It was after authorities warned him that he might face serious consequences after dodging the summons twice.

According to reports, Yoo Ah In has completed the 21-hour second investigation at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Investigation Unit. He entered the building on May 16 at around 9:00 a.m. and left the vicinity on May 17 at 6:26 a.m.

As the "Seoul Vibe" star was about to leave the agency, he briefly spoke to the reporters.

When asked by the media, "What did you explain in the investigation?" Yoo Ah In replied, saying that he "did everything" he could and adding, "I am sorry for causing concern."

A follow-up question regarding the illegal substance use was asked, whether he admitted to the charges of using cocaine and other drugs. The top star remained silent and left the vicinity.

To recall, police had to reschedule the second investigation twice after Yoo Ah In failed to attend.

Initially set on May 11, reports mentioned that Yoo Ah In arrived at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency but didn't push through with the investigation after seeing a flock of reporters at the entrance.

It was rescheduled for a later date, but the award-winning star skipped the rescheduled private summons.

Due to this, the National Police Agency said that the actor might face an arrest warrant if he kept refusing to show up for questioning.

As obtained by the Korea Times, an official said that the investigation could not be delayed further; hence, they had to resort to their last option.

"If the date of his appearance cannot be decided through consultation, police will have to arrest) him," an official from the National Police Agency explained.

Back in February, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety requested the police investigate Yoo Ah In following suspicions over propofol use. As the investigation continues, he is barred from leaving the country.

At the time, Yoo Ah In's agency, UAA, confirmed that the top star would coordinate with the police. However, after authorities conducted hair strand and urine tests, the actor tested positive for four types of drugs: propofol, marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine.

Due to this, he has decided to step down from his role in the upcoming series "Hellbound," while his endorsement deals suffered after brands removed traces of him in various advertisements.
