According to a media outlet, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit has decided to apply for and request an arrest warrant against Yoo Ah In.

This is due to the actor's denial of the charges, adding that the police are worried that the actor might attempt to destroy evidence, which is an essential part of the investigation.

Apart from the "Chicago Typwriter" star, his friend, who is considered an accomplice, will be facing the same circumstances. The said acquaintance is a writer who graduated from an art college.

Initially, the authorities warned the actor that he might face consequences after skipping the private summons twice.

At the time, the police explained that dodging the questioning would only delay the investigation.

After raising the possibility of an arrest warrant, Yoo Ah In, along with his legal team, arrived at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on May 16 around 9 a.m.
