In a report cited by an outlet, the scandal-ridden actor is suspected of using additional drugs. Based on the report, Yoo Ah In was sent to the prosecution without detention after finding out he violated the Narcotics Control Act on charges of using more than 7 types of drugs.

The said additional illegal substances are midazolam and alframzolam, known to be psychotropic drugs.

According to a website, midazolam is a "short-acting hypnotic-sedative drug" that is considered a muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative, hypnotic, and has amnesic properties.

Professionals used this for different biomedical applications, such as dentistry, cardiac surgery, and endoscopic procedures, as pre-anesthetic medication and local anesthesia.

However, although it is known for its medical properties, alframzolam is considered highly addictive.
