EXO's leader Suho (Kim Junmyeon) revealed for the first time the reasons he chose "Behind Your Touch" as his small screen comeback.
EXO's Suho Gives Glimpse of His Character in 'Behind Your Touch'
JTBC dropped EXO's Suho's character stills ahead of the much-awaited premiere of the weekend series "Behind Your Touch." The mystery-comedy drama is set in the backdrop of Mujin, a small rural village free of crime.
Suho takes the role of Kim Sun Woo, a friendly outsider and kind-hearted man with the face of an angel. Suddenly, he arrives in Mujin village for mysterious reasons.
Suho will act with Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki, who will portray the characters of Bong Ye Boon and Moon Jang Yeol, respectively.

This signals EXO's Suho's first drama after five years. In the new stills, the idol-actor gave a sneak peek of his character's interaction with Bong Ye Soon.
As the drama's debut is approaching, the lead vocalist revealed the reasons he chose "Behind Your Touch" as his K-drama comeback.

According to Suho, he has always liked Kim Seok Yoon's work, who is the director of the series. Since he is a fan, he grabbed the opportunity to work with him.
Also, he had fun reading the script:
"The script was really fun to read, and I found Sun Woo's character extremely appealing, so I thought to myself that I really wanted to try portraying him no matter what."
Adding to his revelation, he said:
"The other actors I am co-starring with, in the drama were also the actors I've always liked, so I wanted to work with them as well. I think this project will be a meaningful one for me because I was able to collaborate with such wonderful people and create a great drama."
Furthermore, Suho described his comeback series as a drama that does a great job mixing multiple genres, from thriller, to comedy, and romance. He also hoped that people would watch the fast-paced plot and enjoy the story.
When talking about his character, Suho shared:
"Kim Sun Woo is a character who boasts handsome looks and caring personality, is also veiled in mystery. He works as a part-timer at a convenience store, and shows a mysterious aura."
"I really learned and tried my best to express every line of dialogue with meaning while acting."
Meanwhile, "Behind Your Touch" is set to premiere this August 12 on JTBC, taking over the time slot of the trending rom-com drama "King the Land."
