After almost seven weeks on the weekend primetime, the trending rom-com K-drama "King the Land" starring Lee Junho and YoonA finally came to an end. On August 6, the finale episode was aired-and viewers shared their reactions toward the series' conclusion.
"King the Land" also received a backlash during its first week as some found the plot cliche and ordinary. But even though these issues broke out online, the drama solidified its popularity after recording high viewership ratings and even broke its personal records.
After hitting two-digit ratings, the JTBC series continuously trend online. Its lead stars, Lee Junho and YoonA, even hailed as Most Buzzworthy Actors for more than a month, outshining other stars who also appeared in their respective small-screen projects.
On the other hand, despite the issues that the drama faced, "King the Land" indeed gave viewers a good story to remember.
