Known as K-drama's funny guy with his quirky characters, Cha Tae Hyun once again delighted fans with his comedic acting in Disney+'s "Moving."
The star-studded cast also features Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Ryu Seung Ryong, Go Yoon Jung, and more as main characters.
Based on the webtoon of the same name written by Kang Full, who also penned the series along with "Kingdom" season 2 director Park In Je, the 20-part episode series focuses on the extraordinary lives of three high school students.
Since they were young, their parents, who also have the same superhuman powers, shielded them from the public to avoid getting judged and exploited. However, dark forces are starting to hunt down individuals who possess these kinds of extraordinary abilities.
'Moving' Cast: Meet the Actors of the Hit Disney+ Series
Han Hyo Joo plays Lee Mi Hyun, who has superhuman senses. She could feel and hear even the tiniest detail in her surroundings. In Moving," she is a single mother who raised her son, Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jung Ha), alone.
Despite his ability to fly, she tried to make things normal for him. In the latter part of "Moving" episode 7, the story revealed that Kim Bong Seok's father is Kim Doo Shil (Jo In Sung), who also has the same powers as him.
In one of the interviews, webtoon creator and "Moving" screenwriter Kang Full revealed why he added Jeon Gye Do's character.
According to him, there were a lot of stories that he couldn't solve with just drawing in comics.
"That's why I had to write a screenplay," he added, as obtained by a media outlet.
Moreover, he also explained that there are "deeper narratives" in most of the characters that were not revealed in the original work; hence, he created new characters to fill in these gaps.
