Before August ends, there are still K-dramas in store for the viewers to enjoy beginning this week, from Lee Sang Yeob's "My Lovely Boxer" to Rowoon's "Destined With You," your primetime is indeed packed with exciting series.
'My Lovely Boxer'
KBS finally released its newest sports drama "My Lovely Boxer," which is based on the novel "My Lovely Boxer Lee Kwon Sook," penned by writer Choo Jong Nam, the winning masterpiece at the second Kyobo Bookstore Story Contest.
It presents the story of Lee Kwon Sook, a genius boxer, and the cold agent Kim Tae Young, who is supportive of his athletes to reach their own success. The female lead is played by Kim So Hye, and opposite her is lead actor Lee Sang Yeob.
WINNER's Kim Jin Woo and Han Jae Min also star in the drama.
The series has already started airing on August 21 on KBS and releases new episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. (KST)
'Destined With You'
New onscreen couple Jo Bo Ah and Rowoon are about to debut on primetime beginning August 23 as they headline JTBC's "Destined With You."

The romance-fantasy drama follows the story of Jang Shin Yu, a lawyer who is involved in a centuries-old curse, and Lee Hong Jo, a bright civil servant who holds the key to free Shin Yu from the banned book that was sealed 300 years ago.
"Destined With You" will occupy the 10:30 p.m. (KST) Wednesday and Thursday slots on JTBC. It is also ready for streaming on Netflix.
Idol-actress Yura and young actor Ha Jun are also co-starring in the series.
'Shoot'
It is one of the series to be produced during tvN's "O'PENing" 2023, which is a collection of short dramas written by newly debut screenwriters selected through a storyteller contest.
"Shoot" is said to be a two-part series that tells the journey of a high school genius shooting athlete who dreams of making a return on track after experiencing a slump in her career. The cast is composed of Baek Kang Hee, Han Soo Ah, and Lee Ki Taek. Joining them are K-drama Stars Jung Kyung Ho and Kim Hieora, who are expected to make special appearances in the series.
"Shoot" will premiere this August 27 on tvN.
