In the new "Salon Drip 2" episode, featuring Ji Chang Wook as the celebrity guest, the actor talked about more of his life in and outside the entertainment industry.

During the interview, the lead actor shared stories about his recent drama "The Worst of Evil."

Ji Chang Wook made a remarkable performance in his new project. But despite doing a good job, he received unexpected criticism from his friends after watching his steamy kiss scene with Korean pop singer turned actress BIBI.

The kiss scene became controversial and received mixed reactions from the viewers. Others said that it was the "best kiss scene ever" while others noted that it was too much to handle.

Ji Chang Wook's Friends Express Thoughts on His Kiss Scene With BIBI

Aside from the viewers who had expressed their opinions about the scene, Ji Chang Wook revealed that even his friends also gave their honest thoughts about it.

Jang Do Yeon, the host, mentioned the controversial scene and asked how the actor's close friends reacted. Upon hearing the question and the topic, the "K2" star couldn't hold back his laughter.

In particular, there was a lot of lip-biting in the nearly three-minute kiss scene, and as per Ji Chang Wook's friends, it was too much. The heartthrob said:

"People around me asked why I bit the lower lip so much."

His friends were even worried about how painful it must have been. Even though Ji Chang Wook's friends said that the steamy kiss scene was too much, they were worried that he was hurt due to the intensity of the scene.

Although BIBI and Ji Chang Wook pulled off their characters well and exhibited strong clashing emotions in the scene, the actor's friends couldn't get over how hurtful the kiss looked in real life.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is returning to primetime beginning December first week for his new drama "Welcome to Samdalri" alongside Shin Hye Sun. He is also in talks with multiple projects for 2024.
