Where Are 'Ma Boy' Stars Kim So Hyun & Kim Sun Woong?
Before webtoon-based dramas dominated the small screen, there were short web series that had us hooked. They mostly had campus romance storyline that the youth could relate to.
In 2012, Tooniverse released a web series, titled "Ma Boy," starring Kim So Hyun and Kim Sun Woong. The drama follows the story of Jang Geu Rim, who dreams of becoming a singer and transfers to an elite music high school where her favorite K-pop idol, Tae Joon, also studies.
However, things didn't go easy on her. She hopelessly gets involved in secrets when she meets her roommate Irene, the most liked girl on the campus, who turns out to be a boy in disguise.
Kim So Hyun and Kim Sun Woong had a pure and great chemistry in this series and the drama received much love during its prime.
After almost 11 years, here are the current whereabouts of the two stars.
Kim So Hyun
Turning 25 next year, this versatile star is now one of the most successful actresses in her generation as she landed multiple big projects in consecutive years.
As of this writing, she already has more than 27 drama titles under her belt.
Since she started exploring the acting industry young, Kim So Hyun has years of experience to become an expert in her craft. Some of her great hits are "Love Alarm," " River Where the Moon Rises," "Who Are You: School 2015," "The Tale of Nokdu," "Bring It On Ghost," "I Miss You, and more.

She just made her comeback this year with "My Lovely Liar" where she teamed up with Hwang Minhyun.
Kim So Hyun is expected to make her immediate return with "Is It a Coincidence?" alongside Chae Jong Yeop.
In addition, she is also busy working on her solo advertisements and other activities outside of acting.
Kim Sun Woong
Different from Kim So Hyun, Kim Sun Woong balanced living a normal life in and out of the lens. After he starred in "Ma Boy" he made a cameo in the 2014 series "You Are My Destiny." In the same year, he landed a role in KBS' drama "Blade Man."
Two years later, Kim Sun Woong had a short appearance in tvN's "Cinderella and Four Knights." In 2017, he played the role of Oh Dae Young in "Love Returns."
The actor made his comeback to the small screen in 2022 through the romance series "Woori the Virgin." As of now, he has no confirmed projects yet but he is active in sharing his current whereabouts on social media.
