Park Min Young Asked To Leave K-Drama Industry
Park Min Young finally made her long-awaited small-screen comeback with "Marry My Husband" on January 1st.
However, just two weeks after she made a return, K-Netz are demanding her to leave the industry.
On January 15, the famous Korean media outlet Dispatch shocked the public when they exposed that Park Min Young had received a large amount of money from her controversial ex-boyfriend, Kang Jong Hyun, who was involved in embezzlement.
Based on the report released by Dispatch, the "City Hunter" actress received about $190,000 from Mr. Kang. It has been said that Kang Jong Hyun is a businessman with alleged relation to gangsters, and is currently facing accusations of embezzlement from Bithumb, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea.

The news was particularly surprising as Park Min Young had stated in her previous statement that she never received money from her former boyfriend.

Amid the latest issue, fans and K-Netz expressed their disappointment, with many saying to boycott her ongoing K-drama "Marry My Husband."
The series premiered on January 1 and is gaining popularity among viewers. In fact, its latest episode soared to a 7.6 percent viewership rating.
She is co-starring with actors Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and actress Song Ha Yoon. The drama is making new records on various charts as it entered top 10 of most watched K-dramas today.
Park Min Young's image started to be affected following Dispatch's revelation. Some even asked the actress to leave the industry.
