'My Demon' Gives Off the Same Vibe With 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God'

In "My Demon" episode 15, in which Jung Gu Won (Song Kang) was battling against Noh Suk Min (Kim Tae Hoon) to save Do Do Hee from death went viral. The ending scene of the said episode became a hot topic for its similarities to Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo's "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" also known as "Goblin."

In particular, Song Kang's character Jung Gu Won sizzled to his demise, while his counterpart Do Do Hee played by Kim Yoo Jung sobbed in despair at losing him.

The scene brought back memories to K-drama fans as it showed the same scenario that happened in the 2016 megahit series "Goblin." The scene was beautifully heartbreaking, which was not too far from how Gong Yoo's character Kim Shin faced his fate.
