Kim Jong Kook gets honest about his choices when it comes to relationships.
During the online press conference for the upcoming TV show "Make Handsome: Change! My Man," the host, along with fellow cast members Solar of K-pop girl group MAMAMOO and stylist Kiu, talk about their experience doing the show.
However, Kim Jong Kook was put in a tight spot after he was asked if he would like to join the show as one of the contestants if given a chance.
Kim Jong Kook Dishes On His Dating Status
According to him, he talks about the mission of "Make Handsome: Change! My Man." That is to transform the participants not just physically but also in how they perceive themselves.
"The aim of this show is not only to make our contestants look more handsome but also to boost their self-esteem," he said, as obtained by the media outlet, adding that some used to think that he had low self-esteem, but he considered himself someone who "had very high self-esteem."
Furthermore, he went to discuss some tips on how to look and feel good.
"I know I'm always wearing black and all, but that honestly doesn't mean anything. I'm always feeling confident in my black outfits. So, I'd rather help others build their self-esteem than try to improve my own, because I don't need help with that."
However, one savagely asked Kim Joong Kook about making the participants look better when he "don't wear anything else but black and gym clothes? ", adding, "You also don't have a girlfriend! "
Interestingly, the multi-talented star responded, hinting that he doesn't have plans for a romantic relationship at the moment.
Confirming that he is single, Kim Joong Kook said that he has a "good taste in stuff" and "would like to continue to stay single for the time being."
Moreover, he added that he wants to keep his life as it is and "don't plan on dating anyone for now."
Expressing his stance regarding his dating choice, Kim Jong Kook commented about his preferred option rather than having a girlfriend.
"But I do want to gain more muscles. I would like to do more intensive training this year."
In addition, the host said that he thinks "going to the gym would be more fun that way."
Kim Jong Kook's Dating History
While the "Running Man" member wants to keep his relationship single, he has been involved in various dating rumors throughout his career.
Among them is "Princess Hours" actress Yoon Eun Hye, after she and Kim Jong Kook shared similar stories about their previous relationship.
