The rising idol-actress is slowly making a name for herself as one of the best stars of the new generation of K-drama. Keep on reading to know more.

Jo Ah Ram Joins Star-Studded Workplace Drama 'Audit'

On January 24, broadcast network tvN announced the official cast lineup for the forthcoming drama "Audit" including Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo and Jo Ah Ram.

"Audit" depicts the life of a callous audit team leader and a new hire with high tension passion at JU Construction's audit office where corruption is rampant.

Jo Ah Ram, a former idol member of the group Gugudan, joins the star-studded cast of the show to prove her skills as a rising star.

In the previous year, the actress boasted her cider-like charms as an intelligent doctor in "Doctor Cha" starring Uhm Jung Hwa. Thanks to her sound performance, she received the Female Rookie Award at the 2023 APAN Star Awards.

In her brand new series, she's set to showcase an improved acting as Yoon Seo Jin, a Gen Z employee in JU Construction's audit office who possesses an egoistic character.

Unlike her colleague Goo Han Soo, played by Lee Jung Ha, another Gen Z employee at the office, she's focused on her success and she will stop at nothing to achieve her dreams.

Yoon Seo Jin also keeps a secret from her colleague. Despite their nonchalance, she's acquainted with vice president Hwang Dae Woong, played by Jin Goo.

Moreover, how she uses her charisma to get to Shin Ha Kyun's Shin Cha Il's good side is one of the factors to check in the series, especially when the latter has zero faith in corrupt people.

Meanwhile, "Audit" is set to premiere some time in 2024. Details about its filming will be announced soon so stay tuned for more updates.

What's Next For Jo Ah Ram This 2024

Apart from "Audit," Jo Ah Ram is also gearing up for her forthcoming silver screen debut this year.

The rising star joins Girl's Day Hyeri in "Victory" as a cheerleader with never-ending determination as they navigate their dreams, friendships and girlhood in South Korea 1999.

Currently, the film is underway and it's slated to be released in cinemas nationwide this 2024 so make sure to check it out.

On the other hand, Jo Ah Ram made her acting debut in 2022 with a minor role in Seolhyun and Lee Kwang Soo's thriller comedy series "The Killer's Shopping List."

"Doctor Cha" remains the idol-actress' most notable work as of date, and it's available on Netflix.
