This 2024, Jang Ki Yong is making his much anticipated K-drama comeback with the JTBC series "I'm Not A Hero" with Chun Woo Hee.

It's a supernatural work that depicts the story of a family that lost its powers due to a huge slump in their lives. In the series, Jang Ki Yong plays a depressed man who loses his psychic power.

The drama has been in production since the second half of 2023, following the actor's military discharge. With that said, "I'm Not A Hero" marks Jang Ki Yong's first-ever work in a while.

"Since it's been a while, I'm working on it with great excitement," the actor shared. "Please look forward to seeing the drama as well as my chemistry with Chun Woo Hee."

"I'm Not A Hero" is currently underway but it's expected to be released sometime this 2024 so stay tuned for more updates.

Jin Ki Joo

This year, Jin Ki Joo joins A-listers Song Kang Ho, Byun Yo Han and Lee Kyu Hyung in the brand new series "Uncle Samsik."

The drama focuses on the bromance story between a man who eats three meals a day even during the war and a man from the elite population who writes about love, trust and friendship.

Set in the 1960s, the drama is expected to showcase the beauty of South Korea in the said era whilst delivering a jam-packed production that will entertain the viewers.

In the show, Jin Ki Joo transforms into Joo Yeo Jin, an elite woman and Byun Yo Han's Kim San's lover. "Uncle Samsik" is slated to air in the first half of 2024 on Disney+.
