Netflix's Ted Sarandos teased fans about what to expect in "Squid Game 2."
The Co-CEO visited South Korea on February 16 for his two-day visit to work hand in hand in the country "with the best creative partners representing Korea."
The Netflix official also pointed out that they are taking their first steps for "Squid Game" Season 2.
Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos Hints at More Exciting Games in 'Squid Game 2'
Following the confirmation of "Squid Game" Season 2, viewers can't wait to see new and returning cast members.
Apart from that, fans are looking forward to seeing the thrilling games that the contestant will face.
In an interview, the Netflix Co-CEO said he can't drop any spoilers, but hints at more bold and moving games that viewers will only see on "Squid Game 2."
"The new games that will be presented on an overwhelmingly large set will provide the world with an entertainment experience that only Korean content can provide."

Moreover, he went to praise director Hwang Dong Hyuk, the genius behind the hit K-drama.
"It clearly shows the direction of discovering new overseas viewers."
Apart from this, the Netflix official also visited the set of the upcoming sequel and noted how Iline Studio, a special effects (VFX) studio, grew from 5 employees who were working on season 1 to more than 130 domestic VFX artists for season 2.
'Squid Game 2' to Have U.S. Remake? Netflix Co-CEO Responds
At the height of the "Squid Game" craze in 2021, Netflix named the K-drama as their "biggest show yet," suggesting the huge popularity of the series not just in Asia but worldwide.
With K-dramas gaining international fame, some were rumored to have U.S. adaptations like "Crash Landing on You," "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," "Hotel Del Luna," and more.
Interestingly, rumor sparked that "Squid Game" will also have a U.S. remake, but the Netflix CEO has responded.
Clarifying the issue, Ted Sarandos said that "it was just a rumor."
'Squid Game' Season 2: Cast & What to Expect
Scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2024, Netflix revealed the cast members joining Season 2.
While original cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo are reprising their characters, "Squid Game 2" will also feature new faces who will join the sequel.
It includes Lee Jin Woo, Won Ji An, Jo Yu Ri, Kang Ha Neul, Im Siwan, Park Gyu Young, former BIGBANG's T.O.P., and more.
From the target release date to the cast members, officials hint that the upcoming show will have a very different set from the first season.
