Go Kyung Pyo captured the hearts of viewers with his unexpected appearance at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards.

Joining as one of the nominees for his performance in "Decision to Leave," the versatile star earned a nod for Best Supporting Actor along with Im Siwan ('Emergency Declaration'),Park Ji Hwan ('The Roundup'), and Daniel Henney ('Confidential Assignment 2'), but "Hansan: Rising Dragon" star Byun Yo Han, took home the title.

Despite not getting the award, Go Kyung Pyo surely entertained the crowd and netizens with his bubbly personality at the annual ceremony.

Go Kyung Pyo Looks Back at the Viral Scene at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards

During his guest appearance on Junggigo's YouTube channel, Go Kyung Pyo was asked about his reaction to the viral video.

In the said clip, Block B's ZICO performed his track "Any Song."

As he engaged with the crowd, the singer sat next to Go Kyung Pyo, who was spotted enjoying the song. Interestingly, the actor stole the show with his antics as he danced and sang along with ZICO.

According to the actor, he had mixed reactions to it.

"I regretted letting out my true colors like that. But thankfully, it was well-received."

The 33-year-old star said that he "let loose and had a blast" during the ceremony because he was with his "Decision to Leave" co-stars Park Hae Il, who "encouraged" him to have as much fun as he wanted.

Furthermore, he also added that the scene was not planned or scripted but was rather feeling super excited, hence his reaction.

"I was already excited before ZICO's performance because I found out that K-pop girl group NewJeans was going to perform," Go Kyung Pyo added.

Known for his versatility, he is among the few actors who could do both villain and protagonist.

In 2022, Go Kyung Pyo headlined the rom-com K-drama "Love in Contract" with Park Min Young and Kim Jae Young.

Taking on the role of sweet yet emotionless Jung Ji Ho, viewers were delighted to see his chemistry with the Hallyu queen.

For his second project in the same year, he played the antagonist serial killer in "Connect," starring Jung Hae In.

According to him, he wants to experience playing a lot of different roles as an actor but is concerned about how viewers will perceive his new role if he shows his true self on screen or on social media.

"I tried not to show my personality as much as possible because I was concerned that knowing what I'm like might make it hard for people to see me as a character when they watch my project."

Despite not being that active on Instagram, Go Kyung Pyo has 1. 2 million followers and counting.
