Hwang Minhyun took to Weverse and shared his regrets with the fans, following his announcement of his military enlistment.

Hwang Minhyun Finally Enlists In Military

Idol-actor Hwang Minhyun finally enlisted in the military today.

Earlier this March, the artist announced his plans in fulfilling his military duty as a South Korean citizen. He took to Weverse his regrets, saying, "I will return safely. I will miss you a lot."

The idol-actor also shared photos of his new hair that was cut short for his military service preparation. On March 21, Hwang Minhyun officially entered the training center.

Pledis Entertainment, Hwang Minhyun's agency, didn't release the specific location and time of the artist's enlistment to ensure the safety of both the idol-actor and the fans.

After completing his basic training, Hwang Minhyun will carry out the remainder of his duties as a public service worker.

Before enlisting, the idol-actor held his solo fan meeting "Dowon Resolution," which translates to "Hwang Minhyun and HwangDo (fandom name) promise to be together forever."

The artist performed various exciting songs, and also played a lot with his beloved supporters. He promised to return safely, and grow more beautifully with HwangDos.

On the other hand, Hwang Minhyun also completed his preparation for the forthcoming action slice of life K-drama "Study Group."

The idol-actor transformed into Yoon Ga Min, a delinquent student who wishes to become intelligent by forming a study group to pass his dream college's entrance examination.

"Study Group" was based on the Naver webtoon released in 2019 written by Shin Hyung Wuk and drawn by Ryu Seung Yeon. As of this writing, it now has over 25 million views with a 10-star rating.

The upcoming film is currently underway, and it was helmed by "Miracle: Letters to the President" director Lee Jang Hoon with screenwriter Uhm Seon Ho.

However, there's no news of its exact release date yet but it's expected to be released within the year so stay tuned for further updates.
