'Pyramid Game' Enjoys Continuous Success Following Conclusion
On March 26, it was reported that "Pyramid Game" continues to enjoy cathartic success even after its conclusion.
After the last episode was released, the show ranked first in the number of weekly paid subscribers in TVING history, besting "Death's Game" and "LTNS."
Furthermore, it's also the most watched psychological thriller drama as of the moment, suggesting its blockbuster success.
Dalgonyak, the creator of the webtoon the show was based on, praised the cast and crew of the series. They also thanked everyone for giving life to their characters with their own charms.

Has 'Pyramid Game' Been Renewed For Season 2?
Despite the bumps and criticisms that "Pyramid Game" received, the work is still among the most streamed work in Hallyu today.
It's also dubbed as one of the best works of 2024, hinting at its huge impact and popularity. Because of this, avid viewers demand for a brand new season.
However, there's no news about a follow-up season yet. In addition to that, all loose ends were tied before the work finally ended.
Broadcast network TVING also hasn't announced the renewal of the show for a second season. Although the favorable reviews might make a change in the showrunners' decisions.
Apart from Season 2, a spin-off with a new set of characters is also highly expected, especially from the way things ended in the finale.

The show's director, Park So Yeon, also revealed that she doesn't have any plans for a new season, saying that "how things ended is realistically enough for me."
In episode 10, WJSN Bona's Sung Su Ji finally destroyed Jang Da Ah's Baek Ha Rin's Pyramid Game. The latter also paid for her crimes, and was stripped of her privilege.
