From "Train To Busan" to "Hellbound" and now, "Parasyte: The Grey," director Yeon Sang Ho doesn't stop in showcasing his sensuous directing skills in the South Korean media.
Ahead of the premiere of the work, the filmmaker dished on what to expect from the upcoming Netflix series, and also talked about how he used his directorial freedom in creating the piece.
Yeon Sang Ho Dishes On 'Parasyte: The Grey' Making Process
A week before its long anticipated release, Yeon Sang Ho, the director of "Parasyte: The Grey" shared his insights about the work, raising the excitement among the viewers.
The Netflix show is based on the Japanese comic of the same name, and it tells the intense struggles of people who fall victim to parasites from outer space that plan to invade the Earth.
Yeon Sang Ho, who is a huge fan of the original comic by Hitoshi Iwaaki, shared that he wants to convey the creator's idea through a moving picture, and receive a positive response from it.
He also said that working on "Parasyte: The Grey" made him feel like an accomplished fan. He expressed confidence, saying that even fans of the original work will be satisfied.
"While it's completely different from the comic, it's still about a story about co-existence," Yeon Sang Ho stated. "Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan and the rest of the cast did a great job."
Moreover, tension is doubled as the director hinted at the different narratives inside the whole story, which will give a bigger picture with South Korea in the center.

Jeon So Nee Expresses Gratitude To Koo Kyo Hwan
In an interview with Kim Shin Young in MBC's Noon Hope Song, Jeon So Nee revealed that working with Koo Kyo Hwan has been a lifelong dream for the actress.
Jeon So Nee described "Parasyte: The Grey" as an "honor and a dream come true" as it gave her the opportunity to work closer with the seasoned actor.
According to her, she watched Koo Kyo Hwan's films that he directed and starred in, revealing that she's a huge fan of the Hallyu superstar.
Jeon So Nee shared, "I really enjoyed acting with Koo Kyo Hwan. He made sure that I did well in every take by guiding me and giving me sound advice. I'm truly grateful."
