Song Ha Yoon’s Classmates Reveal More Testimonies Regarding Bullying Controversy: ‘She Has a Strong Personality’

Song Ha Yoon is in hot water after getting embroiled in a bullying issue.

In a report by JTBC, a blind item referring to a popular actress named "Ms. S" was accused of school violence after a tip-off claimed that the celebrity, who at that time was in third-year high school, assaulted them.

Moreover, the actress reportedly slapped them continuously for 90 minutes. The photo of the celebrity was blurred, but netizens were quick to distinguish it as Song Ha Yoon.

Since then, some of her speculated former classmates have come forward and recounted their stories with the star.

More of Song Ha Yoon's Alleged Classmates Testify on School Assault

In the latest update, several online posts regarding Song Ha Yoon's bullying issue resurfaced.

The former classmates revealed their encounter with the 37-year-old actress, noting their testimonies in various online communities. Although these claims are not confirmed, posts dating back to 2018 have been garnering attention.

As mentioned in a report, one user claimed that Song Ha Yoon, whose real name is Kim Mi Seon, was forced to transfer to another school because of bullying issues.

"She has a strong personality, contrary to her appearance," the user added.

In addition to this, a statement posted on a popular online community, FM Korea, in 2021 labeled the actress as a bully and included her graduation photo.

On the other hand, some claimed that the actress was "friendly" and would even talk to introverted kids, but was in the wrong group of friends.

"I've heard rumors that she hung out with the wrong kids in middle school, but it seems she had her rebellious times as well."

Some even mentioned that her then boyfriend, who appears to be part of an "iljin," a gang, or group of people in school who are bullies, has influenced her to resort to school violence.

Song Ha Yoon's Agency Addresses Bullying Issue

Following the issue surrounding the actress, Song Ha Yoon's agency, King Kong by Starship, denied the allegations, stating that the claims against their artist are "entirely false."

"We want to make it clear once again that there is no truth to these claims."

In the report, the label also expressed their plans "to pursue all available legal options, including civil and criminal lawsuits" against malicious comments towards Song Ha Yoon.

In addition, King Kong by Starship also seeks consideration of an injunction to stop the airing of the JTBC's program.

Prior to the controversy, the 37-year-old actress received a huge response from the public, praising her amazing portrayal of the villain Jung Soo Min in "Marry My Husband."

In the webtoon-based series, her character is Kang Ji Won's (Park Min Young) best friend, who manipulated her and played her savior during their high school years.

Moreover, viewers might recognize Song Ha Yoon from her role as Baek Seol Hee in "Fight for My Way" with Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won.
