Jung Hae In is finally making his much anticipated Cannes debut after his newest film "I, The Executioner" was invited to screen at the prestigious French film festival.

Jung Hae In To Debut In Cannes With 'I, The Executioner'

Jung Hae In's beloved fans are in for a treat this 2024 as he finally makes his Cannes debut.

On April 12, the prestigious French festival, Cannes, announced its Official Selection for its 77th celebration, boasting high caliber films from all around the world.

Ryoo Seung Wan's "I, The Executioner," which is a direct sequel to his 2015 film "Veteran," has been invited to screen at the Midnight Screening section to showcase the work's artistic value.

"I, The Executioner" is an action crime film that stars Hwang Jung Min and Jung Hae In, and it depicts the wild goose chase between detectives and a serial killer on the loose.

The film is Ryoo Seung Wan's comeback to Cannes after 19 long years while Hwang Jung Min steps on the Cannes red carpet for the third time. Meanwhile, it's a first for Jung Hae In.

With this, fans look forward to the actor's improved acting. Jung Hae In is also expected to boast his top-notch visuals that can rival other actors from other parts of the globe.

Meanwhile, Noémie Merlant's "The Balconettes" from France, Lorcan Finnegan's "The Surfer" from Australia, Ireland and Soi Cheang's "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" from China, Hong Kong are also part of Cannes' Midnight Screening.
