As hit K-dramas like "Queen of Tears" bid goodbye to viewers, broadcast networks and streaming platforms are set to release new K-dramas before April 2024 ends.

From the highly-anticipated Netflix series to those that are web series-based, viewers will have more reasons to add to their list of shows to binge on this month.

Check out these 2 new K-dramas, as well as some recently-premiered series if you're up for a dose of entertainment!

'Goodbye Earth'

Netflix is wrapping up April by giving fans the long-awaited K-drama "Goodbye Earth."

After the postponement, the pre-apocalyptic drama is slated to unravel the story of survivors before D-day.

"Goodbye Earth" depicts the story of four individuals who are trying to survive amid the chaotic final 200 days before doomsday.

According to the news, an asteroid is scheduled to collide with Earth, particularly targeting the Korean peninsula.

"Goodbye Earth" cast includes Yoo Ah In as Ha Yoon Sang, a researcher at the Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology and the longtime boyfriend of Jin Se Kyung, played by Ahn Eun Jin. She is a middle school teacher who chose to do volunteer work at Ungcheon City Hall.

Adding to the list of cast members are Jeon Seong Woo as the head priest's assistant, Woo Sung Jae, and Kim Yoon Hye, commander Kang In Ah of the combat service support battalion.

Helmed by Kim Jin Min of the hit K-dramas "Extracurricular" and "My Name," he teamed up with "Secret Love Affair" writer Jung Sung Joo to create an amazing adaptation from the novel "Shumatsu no Furu."

"Goodbye Earth" will debut on April 26 exclusively on Netflix.

'Begins Youth'

From the pre-apocalyptic K-drama, another series set to air this April is "Begins Youth."

K-pop fans, especially ARMYs, will rejoice as the upcoming K-drama is based on the BTS Universe.

Written by Seo Ji Hoon, Noh Jong Hyun, Ahn Ji Ho, Seo Young Joo, Kim Yoon Woo, Jung Woo Jin, and Jeon Jin Seo, the story depicts the journey of a boy who has a special mission.

After having the opportunity to travel back in time, he chooses to save all his friends from their unfortunate fates.

Although the BTS members are not the ones starring in "Begins Youth," the series is inspired from their story, making it remarkable to ARMYs.

It will officially be released on April 30, 2024, only on Xclusive.

Currently Airing: 'Chief Detective 1958'

In case you missed seeing Lee Je Hoon in "Taxi Driver," you might want to check out his new drama, "Chief Detective 1958."

Based on the long-running 1971 series "Chief Inspector," he takes on the character of Park Young Han during his prime. Before becoming a hotshot officer, he was the newest team member of Jongnam Police Station Investigation Unit 2.

Creating his own dream team, he recruited Kim Sang Soon, Cho Kyung Hwan, and Seo Ho Jeong, played by Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Woo Sung, and Yoon Hyun Soo, respectively.

"Chief Detective 1958" airs every Friday and Saturday via MBC, Disney+, and Wavve.
