Song Ki Baek's miserable life began as he was worried about how to survive and pay his bills since he already quit his job.
He was lost and didn't know what to do next due to his impulsive decision. He didn't have enough savings to support his everyday expenses. He tried searching again for a new job but was having a hard time, due to the effect of his previous scandal.
On Woo Ju, on the other hand, was in the same situation as his after she lost her job as an entertainment writer. While in deep thought, she planned on starting a new program but already faced difficulties even before it began. One of her colleagues helped and joined her in the work.

For their first attempt, she contacted one of the most popular stars on TV Kim Jeong Heon (Joo Jong Hyuk) to participate in the show. Unfortunately, they were exes, and Woo Ju tried to put a smile on her face while communicating with Jeong Heon.
As she returned home, Woo Ju reunited with Song Ki Baek, who was also renting in the same building. They comforted each other while enjoying the bread and coffee that she brought. They became closer as they confided their true feelings to each other.
On Woo Ju tried to cheer Ki Baek, who was also having a hard time looking for a new job. Her words comforted Ki Baek despite the bitter feelings he had for resigning as a news anchor.
Later on, they realized that the sudden turn of events in their careers might be good opportunities for them to change their lives.
Song Ki Baek Offers New Entertainment Show Idea to On Woo Ju
Song Ki Baek, who figured out what triggers his allergy, came up with a brilliant idea. Every time he went crazy with his frank words, On Woo Ju put her hand on his chest to calm him down.
This brought an idea to Ki Baek to produce an entertaining program, where they can collaborate and earn in order to support their living expenses.
On Woo Ju, who was engrossed in an ingenious idea, was skeptical at first. While thinking about it, a power outage occurred in their neighborhood and the two met again on the rooftop.
Ki Baek used the chance to pursue Woo Ju to proceed with the dating show idea.
