Ha Jung Woo talks about his unforgettable experience filming his movie "Hijacking."
Returning to the big screen after the movie "Boston 1947" with Im Siwan, the top star revealed what it felt like shooting the midair thriller film.
Viewers get to see Ha Jung Woo portray various roles, from civilian businessman in "Narco Saints" to marathon runner Son Gi Jeong in "Boston 1947," the top star takes on the role of commercial pilot Tae In in "Hijacking."
In an interview with local media outlets, the award winning star revealed that the upcoming movie is one of the toughest roles he has played for a project.
According to Ha Jung Woo, portraying the role of Tae In is not an easy job.

The 46-year-old star mentioned the physical challenge and psychological tension while being confined to the cockpit.
In addition, Ha Jung Woo says that it was much harder than he thought it would be.
Mentioning his previous works, the actor shared, "I've played many roles where I'm trapped in one place and struggle to survive, such as in 'Tunnel' and 'The Terror Live,' but this latest role was the most challenging among them."
Most of the scenes required him to pilot the plane and, at the same time, comply with the hijacker's request during the flight.
In addition to this, he is also thinking about the passengers' safety.
"I can say that it was 3 to 4 to 20 times more difficult than previous works."
'Hijacking' Cast and Release Date
Hijacking, an action thriller movie directed by Kim Sung Han, focuses on the midair crisis that happened in Korea in 1971.
It was after an aircraft full of passengers got hijacked by Yong Dae from Sokcho, Gangwon Province, played by Yeo Jin Goo.
As mentioned, Ha Jung Woo portrays the role of the pilot, who is desperate to save the civilians from the hijacker.
Along with him is his co-pilot, Gyu Sik, played by veteran actor Sung Dong Il.
As the interview continues, Ha Jung Woo reveals the reason why he accepted the offer to play the movie's lead star. According to him, it was all curiosity.
"I was initially intrigued by why this man tried to hijack a plane. I was curious to see how the story would unfold," he said, hinting at an unexpected twist with the identity of the antagonist.
Viewers will get to see Ha Jung Woo's new movie as "Hijacking" officially airs on June 21.
Joining Ha Jung Woo, Yeo Jin Goo, and Sung Dong Il as cast members is "Rookie Cops" actress Chae Soo Bin.
