'The Midnight Romance in Hagwon' Episode 5 Recap: Will Jung Ryeo Won Accept the Offer?

The 5th episode continued with Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho analyzing if their plans with the academy were working. However, it seemed that the duo concluded that their project failed after only one student from Heewon High School showed up.

On the other hand, their rival academy, headed by Choi Hyeong Seon, met a group of parents of Changyeong High School students in hopes of convincing them to enroll their kids at Choiseon Korean.

One of the things that she pointed out was the teaching style of Seo Hye Jin.

Unfortunately, things were not looking good for Seo Hye Jin. It was after Daechi Chase director Kim Hyun Tak suggested Hye Jin take a break by joining their new branch.

In addition to this, assistant director Woo Seung Hee offered newbie instructors Lee Joon Ho and Nam Cheong Mi to teach their newly-enrolled Changyeong High School students.

At this point, Seo Hye Jin doubted that Daechi Chase is trying to get rid of her by giving her lesser students and thinks that the joint lecture failure was the main reason behind the sudden change.

Amid her rocky situation at Daechi Chase, she was invited by Choiseon Korean founder Choi Hyeong Seon to work for them. Instead of being an instructor, Ms. Choi offered her the position of assistant director in hopes that she could bring in Changyeong High students.

However, despite the lucrative offer, Seo Hye Jin asked for more time to think it over. When she returned to Daechi Chase Academy, Heewon High School student Lee Shi Woo inquired about transferring to them.

Seo Hye Jin let Lee Jun Ho do the introduction and managed to convince Shi Woo to go onboard with them.

Interestingly, he and Seo Hye Jin were able to bring an entire class of students to Daechi Chase.
