Kim Hye Yoon Makes Thoughtful Decision in Choosing Between Byeon Woo Seok & Song Geon Hee
In tvN's "Lovely Runner," Kim Hye Yoon played the character of Im Sol, a devoted fan who travels back to 2008 to change the fate of her beloved idol Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok). Despite not achieving double-digit ratings, the series garnered much buzz and became one of the hottest topics in Korea.

To recall, the series, featured two contrasting first love styles that were quick to captivate fans: Sol's first love, Kim Tae Seong (Song Geon Hee), and Sun Jae. During her recent interview, the actress was asked who she would pick in real life, and Kim Hye Yoon had a thoughtful answer.
At first, the "SKY Castle" has a hard time choosing, but then she calmly composes her thoughts and says, "Tae Seong is like a tsundere character, while Sun Jae is straightforward and first love."

She went on, "If I were my teenage self, I'd probably be drawn to Kim Tae Seong because he's a famous guy, and would have been quite popular in school. But as an adult, I'd mix in some of Sun Jae's qualities."
Kim Hye Yoon confessed, "I'll go with Kim Tae Seong for dating and Ryu Sun Jae for marriage."
'Lovely Runner' Star Talks About Her First Love, Current Approach in Relationship
Reflecting on her first love in real-life, the "Extraordinary You" star admitted that she used to like someone back then. Avoiding any rumors, she playfully emphasized the words "back then," giving the interviewer a good laugh.

She mentioned, "As every first love is, it was bittersweet but also beautiful. I love how I was so in love at the time. Looking back, I am amazed at how much effort I was willing to give for that love. I find that part of myself endearing."
As years passed by, Kim Hye Yoon's look and approach to relationships changed and admitted that she is more cautious.
"Back then, I gave my all without thinking of the consequences. But now, I'm protective and more mindful of potential pain and try to guard my heart a bit more."
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon is also booked and busy with new upcoming work. From magazine pictorials to show guestings, the young actress is receiving warm support from fans.
After her appearance in "Salon Drip 2" with Byeon Woo Seok, she is scheduled to join Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok in the forthcoming broadcast of "Whenever Possible," to air June 4.
