Park Bo Gum found himself in the middle of a tricky situation during the press conference of the upcoming movie "Wonderland."
The South Korean heartthrob graced the stage with a star-studded cast featuring Bae Suzy, Tang Wei, and Choi Woo Sik, along with director Kim Tae Yong.
Unfortunately, Jung Yoo Mi, who is also one of the lead stars of the romance sci-fi film, couldn't make it "due to a sudden illness," as mentioned by the director.
Interestingly, everyone looked stunning on stage, with Park Bo Gum looking sharp in a black top paired with a black coat.
He also kept things casual by wearing medium washed denim and a pair of boots, as the actor showcased his amazing visuals.
However, besides the cast members sharing their experiences and thoughts about the upcoming movie, the photo op became one of the interesting highlights of the event.
Park Bo Gum Attempts to Play 'Cupid' During the 'Wonderland' Press Conference
As the group lined up for the photo op, Park Bo Gum signaled to the director to take center and stand next to his wife.
For those who do not know, "Wonderland" director Kim Tae Yong is married to Chinese actress Tang Wei. This is also the reason why the South Korean actor thought that it would be best for them to stand next to each other in photos.
However, instead of Kim Tae Yong moving next to Tang Wei, the couple seemed reluctant to stand next to each other. Instead, the Chinese actress chose to stand at the end of the line.
For a few seconds, the cast couldn't figure out their formation for the photo op but ended up having Park Bo Gum and Bae Suzy at the center.
Interestingly, the incident seemed to delight netizens and mentioned how awkward yet adorable the actor is who seemed to be playing like a matchmaker on stage.
As for others, they were clueless that Tang Wei and director Kim Tae Yong are married.
