'The Atypical Family' Episode 9: Do Da Hae Goes Against Baek Il Hong
The episode kicked off with Do Da Hae, who noticed that Baek Il Hong was planning another operation against the Bok family. She immediately informed Bok Gwi Ju about it.
Da Hae warned Grace and Il Hong to leave the Bok family alone or else they would repay them in the cruelest way.

Meanwhile, Bok Ina went missing. Gwi Ju looked for his daughter with the help of Da Hae and Noh Hyung Tae (Choi Gwang Rok). He felt sorry for not taking good care of her. He used his power and found Bok Ina in the school gym's storage room. He tried to ask her but remained silent, and remembered Da Hae's advice.
At that moment, Bok Ina locked eyes with her father and discovered his regained abilities. She was able to read his father's mind, who was always worried about her.
That was when Gwi Ju found out about Ina's superpower.

Gwi Ju began to regain his happiness with his daughter. He taught her how to ride a bicycle and showed more affection that he failed to show before.
Bok Ina also started to find her smile.
As they were enjoying the happy moments together, Gwi Ju's time slipped on the time when his daughter was born, one of the happiest times of his life, which he so desperately wanted to return to.
Do Da Hae Receives Marriage Proposal From Bok Gwi Ju
With all the happenings in his present time, Gwi Ju expressed his overwhelming joy and decided that it was his turn to save Do Da Hae.

However, Do Da Hae tried to push him away as she wanted Gwi Ju to save his family. But she was surprised when he said that he also wanted to protect them and would risk his life for them, and that family includes her too.
Hearing those made Da Hae emotional. Just minutes later, Gwi Ju handed over the Bok family ring and confessed his feelings. He said that one day in the future, Do Da Hae would wear that ring, hinting that she already accepted the proposal.
They ended the marriage proposal with a kiss.
Bok Man Heum Predicts Bok Gwi Ju's Future
Elsewhere, a crisis loomed over the happiness that had been difficult to regain. Bok Man Heum had a dream where her husband, Eom Soon Gu, is weeping over the death of Bok Gwi Ju.
