One of the mainstays in KBS2's variety show "2 Days, 1 Night," the 29-year-old actor seemed delighted to welcome the popular girl group on the show.

In the recent episode, NewJeans joined cast members Kim Jong Min, Moon Se Yoon, DinDin, Yeon Jung Hoon, Na In Woo, and Yoo Seon Ho on a trip to Gangwon province. Their mission was to win the challenges, earn points, and avoid the punishments.

Interestingly, one of the highlights of the recent episode of "2 Days, 1 Night" Season 4 was Na In Woo's interaction with NewJeans Danielle.

Na In Woo Gushes Over NewJeans Danielle

Aired on June 9, NewJeans members Hanni, Haerin, Minji, and Dannielle showcased their competitive sides to win against the 2D1N team.

Unfortunately, fellow member Hyein wasn't on the show since she is still recovering from a foot injury.

As the K-pop group and cast members participated in the challenges, eagle-eyed viewers noticed the unexpected chemistry between Na In Woo and Danielle, sparking attention on social media.

With this, a post in TikTok is going viral for highlighting the said moment between the two.

In the first clip, the "Marry My Husband" star greeted Danielle, saying, "Nice to meet you."

The second clip featured Na In Woo saying "X Men" since they both liked it. However, some of the members gestured as if they were protecting Danielle.

As for the last clip, the actor asked the Newjeans member to pick the food for him as part of the challenge. He said that he will eat whatever he chooses, whether it's punishment or not.

However, netizens have mixed reactions to Na In Woo's unexpected behavior towards the K-pop member.

On the other hand, some defended Na In Woo and mentioned that he is just being friendly towards their guest celebrities and being the host, he needs to accommodate them and make them feel comfortable.

Na In Woo to Leave '2 Days, 1 Night'

After more than 2 years of being part of the variety show, Na In Woo has decided to step down from "2 Days, 1 Night" season 4.

The news was confirmed by a show representative, saying that the reason behind his decision was that he wanted to focus more on his acting career.

In addition, the show official also mentioned that Na In Woo is gearing up for his K-drama comeback, "Motel California," which is slated to air sometime in 2025.

"Na In Woo has an upcoming drama scheduled for the second half of this year, which led to his decision to leave. As of now, no decision has been made regarding his successor. Discussions are still ongoing."
