One of China's trending stars, Zhao Lusi, is gearing to meet the viewers with another romance drama.
Known for her captivating performance in the 2023 hit Chinese drama "Hidden Love," the actress immediately amassed popularity along with her co-star Chen Zhe Yuan.
In the same year, she landed another lead role through "The Last Immoral."
This 2024, the 25-year-old beauty is booked with new projects. As proof, the actress was spotted filming her forthcoming series "Love's Ambition."

Zhao Lusi will team up with William Chan, also known as Chai Wai Ting, a singer-actor who also did numerous dramas and movies. The two sparked excitement as they already filmed their kiss scene for the forthcoming series.

What We Know So Far About 'Love's Ambition'
Adapted from the web novel "Da Qiao Xiao Qiao," the drama follows the story of Xu Yan (Zhao Lusi) and Shen Hao Ming (William Chan), a couple envied by everyone.
Despite their almost perfect relationship in front of others, they also struggle in their upbringing due to their differences.
Xu Tan enters into marriage with Shen Hao Ming, thanks to her glamorous career identity and carefully embellished background, all under Shen Hao Ming's control.
Conflict arises when Xu Yan breaks free from Hao Min's grasp for good.
However, that's when he realizes he has long been in love with her and is determined to win Xu Yan back.
"Love's Ambition" filming kicked off in the first half of 2024. Apart from Zhao Lusi and William Chan, they will be joined by Wan Peng, Tang Xiao Tian, Guan Zi Jing, Zhong Ya Ting, Wang Yi Yao, Wang Ya Jia, and more.
The series will be directed by Chen Chang, and will reportedly have 32 episodes. The romantic Chinese series is expected to premiere sometime this year.
